We are an extension of the parish whose desire it is to educate children in a Christ- centered environment. The academic experiences are based on sound Diocesan Curriculum Guidelines. We welcome students of any race, creed or ethnic origin. Provision is made for the individual needs of the child (i.e.) Title 1 Reading Support, Speech, Advanced Math (7th & 8th) School memberships include South Western PA Speech League (Forensics), PA Junior Academy of Science, English Festival (7th & 8th) Students here have been awarded the Carson Scholars Award ($1,000 towards college) for each of the past four years. Students surpass the national norms on the annual Terra Nova Achievement Tests. The typical class size is 15 Band instruction is offered for Grades 4 through 8. All teachers are state certified; three Diocesan Golden Apple Award winners thus far. Basketball and soccer at various grade levels. We offer a Before School Program (7:00-8:00a.m.) and an After School Enrichment Program from dismissal until 6:00p.m.
